LeHACK 2026

LeHack 2026 - Call For Papers

June 26–27, 2026 | Cité des Sciences, Paris (France)
Where nostalgia meets the future of hacking.

The Spirit of LeHack

LeHack is back in 2026, bigger, bolder, and with a few surprises up our sleeves ;) We know some of you still reminisce about La Nuit du Hack, and we get it: those were legendary times. Every year, we strive to craft an event with its own soul, its own style, and its own unforgettable moments.
This year, we’re pushing boundaries further. We want to bridge generations of hackers, from the era of "Smashing the Stack for Fun and Profit" to the latest LLM exploits. Expect fresh twists, deeper connections, and a lineup that reflects the evolution (and revolution) of hacking culture.

What’s New in 2026?

  • Dual-format talks: Long (45 min) and short (20 min) slots: 10 long talks + 20 short talks for more dynamism and diversity.
  • Anonymity & confidentiality levels: Because sometimes, the best hacks come from the shadows. (More on this below!)
  • Difficulty labels: Talks will be tagged as Accessible/Confirmed/Expert, so you know exactly what you’re signing up for.
  • The return of HackerzVoice paper journal \o/ A throwback to the golden age of hacker zines. Submit your papers for this nostalgic format, we’ve all missed it. <3

Anonymity: Your Rules, Your Way

We respect that some research is too sensitive (or too spicy) for the spotlight. Choose your level of exposure:

  • Public: Slides + video released.
  • Private: Slides + video not published.
  • Ghost Mode: No photos, no online traces: just your words on stage.
  • Full Anon: You don’t exist. Only your research does. (We’ll handle the rest.)

Topics We’re Craving

We’re hunting for cutting-edge, controversial, or just plain brilliant research. Priority themes include:

  • Vulnerability research & exploitation (software/hardware)
  • Reverse engineering (binaries, firmware, obfuscation, etc.)
  • Wireless attacks (RF, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 5G, etc.)
  • Embedded system hacking (IoT, industrial, automotive, etc.)
  • Surveillance/espionage techniques, and how to fight back
  • Malware design & analysis (evasion, persistence, APT tradecraft)
  • Physical security (lockpicking, bypass techniques, tampering)
  • OSINT (Investigations, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Open source projects, Reverse engineering to find OSINT techniques...)
  • Surprise us. If your topic doesn’t fit neatly into these boxes but is mind-blowing, we want to hear it.

Submission Formats

You can submit:

  • A long talk (45 min, including Q&A). (Note: We may suggest trimming to 20 min if feasible.)
  • A short talk (20 min, including Q&A).
  • A workshop (1 to 3 hours, hands-on preferred).

Language: Talks can be in French or English, but slides must be in English.
